Invite links and referral codes at sign-up

A friend can invite you with a personal invite link or a referral code. Using it when you create your account links your new account to the person who invited you. A referral code is optional. This article covers the sign-up side. For how referral rewards work after sign-up, see your Referral page.

Using an invite link

An invite link is a BYNAI web address that ends in /invite/ followed by the inviter's code. Opening it shows a landing page:

  • A headline: "{name} invited you to BYNAI" when the inviter chose to show their name, otherwise "A friend invited you to BYNAI". If the code cannot be read the page shows "Let AI agents trade for you".
  • A short pitch: "BYNAI agents trade crypto for you. Stake USDT with an agent, choose how long to lock it, and earn a share of its profit."
  • A list titled "Top agents right now" with each agent's "30-day return" (or "No results yet").
  • A Connect Wallet button that opens the sign-in/sign-up window. If you are already signed in, the button is Browse agents.

If you were signed out when you arrived and you finish signing in on this page, BYNAI takes you straight to the agents page.

The link is remembered in your browser. When you register later in the same browser, the code is filled in or attached automatically. The app keeps it for 30 days. Older-style referral links that carry the code in the address (as "ref" or "referral") work the same way. A campaign link can also carry a campaign tag, which is attached to the sign-up in the same way.

Entering a code by hand

  1. Start sign-up (see the create-account article).
  2. On the first step of the Create Account page, fill Referral Code (Optional). In the sign-up pop-up, click Have a referral code? and type it in the Code field (you can hide the field again with Cancel).
  3. After 5 or more characters the app checks the code. A green check means it is valid, a red cross means it is not. Wait for the spinner to finish.
  4. If the inviter allowed it, a small card shows their avatar and name with "Code: {code}".
  5. Continue the sign-up as normal.

If you registered with a wallet, the code that is filled in (from a link or the field) is sent with the wallet sign-up.

Messages

MessageMeaning / what to do
Invalid referral codeThe code is not recognised. Check for typos, spaces or letter case, or clear the field to continue without one
Referral Code (Optional)The field is optional; leave it empty if you have no code

Important limits

  • The code can only be attached when the account is created. The sign-up form cannot add a code to an account that already exists, so enter it before you finish registering.
  • The app does not show a screen to add a referral code afterwards. If you forgot to enter one, contact Support; the app does not say whether a code can be added later.
  • You cannot see rewards or rates here. Any benefit for the person who invited you or for you is shown on the Referral page and in the campaign you joined, not on the sign-up form.
  • A red cross means the code was not recognised. The code is optional, so you can clear the field and continue without it.

FAQ

I opened the invite link on my phone but registered on my computer. The code is remembered per browser. Enter it by hand on the computer.

The inviter's name does not show. Inviters can choose not to show their profile; the code still works.

Can I change the referrer later? The app has no such option.

Where do I find my own invite link? On the Referral page after you sign in.

When to contact Support

Include the code you used (or the link), the email or wallet address you registered with, when you registered, the exact message, and a screenshot. Never share your password or verification codes.
